Tami Kolawole

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Oluwatamilore Kolawole, a Nigerian American, is a dedicated advocate for health equity, holding a B.S. in Neuroscience with minors in Chemistry and French from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Actively engaged in violence prevention initiatives in Black and queer communities, she worked at the Compass Center and volunteered as a HAVEN volunteer at the Carolina Women’s Center. As chair for Women in NAACP and service and Education for the Black student affiliation organization, she fostered self-reliance and responsible engagement within communities during university. Currently serving as a medical case manager, Oluwatamilore advocates for patients living withHIV/AIDS, emphasizing a holistic approach to healthcare that addresses social determinants. With plans to pursue an MD.MPH degree, she aims to advance public health initiatives. Rooted in her global upbringing across the USA, Nigeria, and the UK, Oluwatamilore also enjoys promoting cultural exchange through music and fashion, celebrating diversity and inclusion.
